Who we are
Muggle Stay is a private villa in Bucal, Silang, Cavite. This notice explains how we handle your personal information when you book, chat with us, or message our Facebook Page or Instagram account, in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
What we collect
- Booking details: your name, mobile number, email, dates, number of guests and pets, arrival time and any requests you write.
- Payment records: the amount, date and payment method. Card and e-wallet details are entered on PayMongo's secure page; we never see or store them.
- Messages: what you send us through the website chat, Messenger or Instagram, and your public profile name on those apps.
Why we use it
- To confirm and manage your booking, take payments and send receipts.
- To reply to your questions and send check-in details.
- To keep a record of guests, as required for safety and accounting.
- To ask for a review after your stay (you can ignore it).
We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- PayMongo, to process your payment.
- Meta (Facebook Messenger and Instagram), when you message us there.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and its database.
- Government authorities, only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, and chat messages for up to two years. After that we delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent, by messaging us on Messenger or emailing booking@mugglestay.net. You may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
Deleting your Messenger or Instagram data
To have your chat history with us deleted, send us a message saying "delete my data" or email booking@mugglestay.net. We'll confirm once it's done.
